Widgets: Adding & Layout
The Dashboard is made up of "Widgets." You can assemble the information and actions you need on a single page, like building with blocks.

1) Adding Widgets
After entering Edit mode, click the Add button at the top to open the "Widget Selector."
Widgets are typically grouped by module:
- Data (counts, progress, charts, etc.)
- Time (timers, hours, etc.)
- Tasks (task list, kanban, etc.)
- Calendar (monthly calendar, schedule, Gantt, etc.)
- Decorative (headings, dividers, etc.)
Each widget offers 1–3 size options (S / M / L).
2) Drag & Resize (Edit Mode)
In edit mode:
- Drag to move: Drag a widget to reposition it
- Resize: Drag the resize handle at the widget's bottom-right corner / edge (depends on the current style)
- Delete widget: Click the "Delete" button at the widget's top-right corner
- Widget settings: Click the "Settings" button at the widget's top-right corner
Tip:
- Widget content is usually not interactive in edit mode (to avoid accidentally triggering actions while dragging).
3) Widget Settings (Also Available in Normal Mode)
In normal mode, hover over a widget to reveal:
- Settings: Open the full settings panel (style, data source, filter conditions, etc.)
- Quick settings: Some list-type widgets offer quick filter / toggle options
- Quick create: For example, a task list widget may offer a "+" for quick task creation
4) Overlap & Layout Tips
The Dashboard does not allow widgets to overlap; overlaps are highlighted in red and block exiting edit mode.
Practical tips:
- Start with "medium / large" widgets for the main structure, then fill in corners with "small" widgets
- Place "high-frequency actions" where your eyes and mouse can reach most easily (upper-center area)
