Dashboard Pages & Edit Mode

The Dashboard supports multiple pages and an edit mode for adjusting layouts and styles.

(TODO: image to be added)

1) Creating a New Dashboard Page

Click "+" to the right of the page tabs to add a new page. There are typically two options:

  • Blank dashboard: Build from scratch
  • From template: Use a built-in template to get a ready-to-use layout (which you can then customize)

2) Rename / Set as Default / Delete

Hover over a dashboard page tab to reveal the "More" button:

  • Rename: Change the current page's name
  • Set as Default: The starred page is the default (shown first when you open the Dashboard)
  • Delete: Delete a page when multiple pages exist

Tip:

  • Deleting a dashboard page also deletes all widgets on that page (only affects that page).

3) Edit Mode (Edit / Done)

There is an "Edit / Done" button on the right side of the Dashboard:

  • Edit: Enter layout adjustment mode (drag, resize, delete, change styles)
  • Done: Exit edit mode and return to normal interaction

Tip:

  • Enter edit mode when you need to "drag / resize / delete." For everyday use, stay in normal mode to avoid accidental dragging.

4) Overlap Detection (Red Outline)

The Dashboard does not allow widgets to overlap.

  • If an overlap is detected, the affected widgets are highlighted with a red outline
  • The "Done" button is blocked until the overlap is resolved (you'll be prompted to adjust first)

Fix:

  • Drag the red-outlined widget away, or shrink one of the overlapping widgets

5) Collapse Interface (Tab Bar / All)

The Dashboard provides a "Collapse interface" menu, useful on smaller screens or when you want more viewing space:

  • Collapse tab bar
  • Collapse all

After collapsing, an "Expand" bar appears at the top — click it to restore.
